SERIMA MISSION

The Serima mission was founded in 1948 by a Swiss priest and architect, Father John Groeber. It is a medieval church that is one of the most amazing monuments in the country. Apart from the fact that the building was built in the spirit of European medieval architecture, it is mainly the admirable paintings and sculptures that surprise the traveler. Groeber encouraged the young people of the mission to decorate the village church. The result is astonishing, as much by the precision of the work done as by the variety of the achievements.
