RHODES HOTEL MUSEUM

The site now occupied by Nyanga National Park was once the personal residence of Cecil Rhodes. His cottage is still there, set in the heart of English gardens and pretty groves, bordering a small lake to which Rhodes once gave his name. In the old stables, a museum has been set up and gathers some objects that belonged to the colonist. Some facts of his life are also recalled, while panels are dedicated to the second war of liberation, to Zimbabwean war heroes and to the history of the region.
