CHAPUNGU VILLAGE

Chapungu was founded by Roy Guthrie in the 1970s. It was internationally renowned for its sculptures and helped develop Shona art. This place of creation still gathers about twenty artists who work in different styles of stone. Here, all the works are signed and are sold at relatively high prices. You will find all kinds of stones, and of all sizes. The sculptors are often present, do not hesitate to speak with them, they will share their art with you, because behind each of their work is a story.
