WAGNER'S PHARMACY
An authentic dinner how little more is done. We love the vintage decor with its marble counter top, leather seats and fabric-covered benches. Even the staff seems to have been there for decades. Located a few minutes from the racecourse, it is a favourite address for jockeys and other people working in horse racing. Its history dates back to the early 20th century when Leo Wagner bought a pharmacy in the city centre and moved it to the current Diner location. He then regularly served the jockeys who came for a drink after training and decided to serve food. This is how this mythical address of Louisville was born.
You will find a simple and cheap cuisine and a small shop, in the background, with different souvenirs for sale and the typical sweets of the region.
