GHOST TOWN MUSEUM

Created in 1954 to protect what remained of the Gold Rush era in Peak, this museum became a mini-city to represent life in a nineteenth-century mining West. The museum is housed in a historical structure, the former maintenance building for the Golden Cycle Company steam locomotives carrying gold. Here you can explore old antique shops, historic sites and fun looking for gold.
