The Atlanta Athletic Club is a private country club located in Johns Creek, Georgia, about 23 miles north of Atlanta. Founded in 1898, the club boasts two state-of-the-art golf courses. The Highlands course is renowned for hosting professional tournaments and offers a stimulating challenge to golfers. The Riverside course, meanwhile, is popular with members for its tranquil views along the river. The club also has a 9-hole course and driving range for golfers wishing to practice and improve their game. The Rue T. Jones, Jr. golf instruction center is also available for golfers of all levels who wish to analyze their swing and train with professionals. The club has hosted many prestigious championships, including the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in 2021 and the U.S. Amateur Championship in 2014.
