Museum containing objects and archives of the Alpini corps, the army troops specialized in fighting in mountainous areas.
In the mezzanine of the "Taverna al Ponte" brewery, near the famous Bassano Bridge, this museum takes us back to the history of the Alpini corps, the Italian army troops specialized in fighting in mountainous areas. Many of its members were from Bassano. A large number of weapons, and more generally, all the military equipment of the time, can be discovered, as well as archives illustrating, for example, the Russian campaign in photographs. A battle station with a howitzer and many accessories is also on display.
