Several restaurants and cafés are located around Koukia's central square, a stone's throw from the Palaipaphos archaeological site. The menu at this taverna (Ταβέρνα Ο Γαβρίλης) is well suited to visitors' needs: sandwiches, omelettes, kebabs or salads for those in a hurry, mezzés, stewed dishes, grills, beef cuts and a wine list to enjoy a little longer on the terrace overlooking the pretty little early 20th-century Apostolos Loukas church. Music and Cypriot buffet on Thursday evenings.
