The origin of this beautiful house goes back to 1738. Its 10 hectare estate is spread over the Grands Crus Eichberg and Pfersigberg in Eguisheim and Kaefferkopf in Ammerschwihr. Its historical cellar contains old oak barrels where some of the estate's wines (Grands Crus, Gewurztraminer and great Rieslings) mature. Its wines are regularly awarded: the Riesling Cuvée Elisabeth Stumpf 2019 won a gold medal at the International Berliner Wine Trophy Competition. As you can see, a visit to the tasting cellar of the Maison Baur is a must!
