EXCURSION TO THE UMBALFÄLLE WATERFALL

It's one of the park's jewels, a spectacular waterfall and a popular excursion for families. Near the village of Prägraten, a 20-minute drive from Matrei in Osttirol, you park your car (parking fee payable) and head for the waterfall. In summer, you won't be alone! It's a 20-minute to 1-hour walk from the parking lot to the waterfall. You'll discover a beautiful waterfall, accessible to all, with a small suspended esplanade to make the most of the view.
