HAMEAUX D'ALPENZU

A short, "classic" hike from Gressoney, taking in typical, unspoilt Walser hamlets, as well as refreshments in a mountain hut along the way, for a good, restorative break. From Chemonal, follow the signs for Alpenzu Grande to the hamlet where the refuge is located. You can then continue on to Alpenzu Piccolo, descend to the valley floor and return to Chemonal along a path that runs parallel to the road, passing through the hamlets of Ecko and Rong.
