. From the large car park located in the hamlet of Pont de Valsavarenche, take path no. 3 which climbs up through a larch forest. After a few bends, you reach the Croix de la Roley, situated on one of the rocky spurs dominating the bottom of the valley; its position also offers a privileged panorama of the Grand-Paradis massif and its glaciers on the opposite side. A feeling of freedom invades us as we admire the highest peaks.
