PARQUE NATURAL AIAKO HARRIA

10 km east of Oiartzun, this natural park of 7,000 ha bears the imprint of ancestral times, since its granite massif surfaced more than 250 million years ago. Fossils of marine animals and dozens of megalithic monuments have also been discovered here. The site is very popular with hikers and picnic enthusiasts. Dominated by the Irumugarrieta (806 m), Txurrumurru (827 m) and Erroilbide (837 m), it is better known as the Three Crowns.
