CHEZ FRANCIS « LA PAILLOTE DES DUNES »

I leave La Paillote dunes at the moment.

I do not recommend this restaurant highly. The dishes served were very good but except the taste, it is one of the worst experiences in a Tunisian restaurant.

Here is the list of the inconvenience:
half the menu ni' does not state that the pizzas are not served in the evenings. From where the first disappointment for our children after they go their choice,
half they were folded back on sandwiches escalope of turkey: after an hour waiting, sandwiches were not loans,
half my wife and me planes ordered a plate of the sea (mine nothing 42 dinars for 2 people, that predict a royal dish): not only the dish (seafood grilled meat) was cold, but without any filling and almost empty: 2 shrimps, 1 half of cuttlefish, 5 mussels, 5 clams,
half the couple that accompanied us had required spaghetti seafood: sand grated with coarse grains,

The excuse management were inadmissible: I work chef and without second, I could not replace them...

Really ashamed and unworthy!

ayant fréquenté ce restaurant à de nombreuses reprises, comme l'on dit "il y a à boire et à manger !" le gros problème c'est un manque de suivi et l'impression que le personnel fait ce qu'il veut. cuisine irrégulière, carte inutile car la moitié des plats ne sont pas disponibles.
Donc j'ai bien mangé une fois sur deux ! d'où mon indulgence dans la notation. Le patron, malheureusement, passe plus de temps à discuter assis à une table avec des amis au lieu de s'occuper de ce qui se passe dans ses cuisines et aux tables des clients. Dommage, car le cadre est sympa, les pieds dans l'eau, et les serveurs (jeunes) font le maximum pour faire patienter les clients (service très long). J'ai assisté un jour à quelque chose de cocasse, un couple installé à la table voisine de la mienne patientait en attendant le plat commandé, il est vrai qu'ils étaient déja à table lorsque je suis arrivé. D'un seul coup, ils se sont levés et demandé le patron, qui était attablé avec des amis. Ils se sont plaints que cela faisait une heure d'attente pour deux salades et ils sont partis. Réaction du patron, il a hurlé contre les cuisiniers en pleine salle et en a viré un sur le champ !

beautiful placement, management compétant, friendly and brisk, the dishes in more than the specialities by ex " delight of the mer" it is a mix of seafood sauce différents" fried with garlic, Provence or grilled fish tj fresh, taken absolutely study, the best restaurant eat in this island and the waterfront.

Beautiful location. Attractive menu and friendly service although embarrassing but it is all. Enormous disappointment. Many menu miss. The service drags on (50 minutes for a sandwich!). The titles dishes flattering, only have little to see with raw food served without side in the dishes. In these conditions, rates are outrageous: 10 Dinars for example for a slice of tajine served without, absolutely other in the dish, for example. Avoid simply. The location could do with better!
