Former vacation villa of Luchino Visconti, now a museum of the director's life

Luchino Visconti's former holiday villa has become a museum dedicated to his memory. It retraces the life of the director and offers us the untouched spectacle of his last home, since it was here that the genius of Italian cinema died. The architecture of the building, built at the beginning of the 19th century, combines the island style with Moorish inspiration. Its park is magnificent and it is easy to understand why Visconti came to Forio to draw strength and inspiration.
