MUSEO DE LA COLONIA

The Koloniehaus museum is located in the Casa Colonial, one of Filadelfia's first houses and once the colony's administrative headquarters. It's well worth a visit to gain a better understanding of the Mennonite world. On display are objects brought by the founding families, or made locally during the colony's early years. On display, for example, are a mandolin, Siberian woollen boots and an old 1945 press used to print the Mennobladtt. A room also displays weapons from the Chaco War.
