A mysterious emerald-green lake, elliptical like an eye, lost amid lush vegetation. The geological formation is thought to have appeared 250 million years ago, and its depth is unknown... Some claim that a pair of endemic albino crocodiles, the yacaré morotî, live here... It's a place steeped in legend, untamed, with no tourist infrastructure. You can swim here, but be warned: legend has it that anyone attempting to swim across the lake will be sucked to the bottom (if there is one!) by a strange force..
