This 100-hectare refuge is one of the ecological compensation measures for the Yacyretá complex. It accommodates over 300 individuals in cages (too small) or in semi-liberty, including mammals (puma, jaguar, anteater...), birds and reptiles found injured or rescued from animal trafficking. A breeding and rearing ground for endangered species. It's an opportunity to observe local wildlife up close, even if you come away a little sad.
