RESERVA NATURAL YACYRETÁ

To compensate for the significant loss of habitat for the region's wildlife caused by the successive rises in the waters of Lake Yacyretá, the Binational Entity (EBY) has committed to protect the same area with several nature reserves, including the publicly accessible island of Yacyretá. The guided tour is limited to 70 people (dunes and lagoons) or 30 people (Akuti Po'i trail) and requires prior registration. The visitor discovers beautiful landscapes made up of sand dunes and an easy trail of less than 3 km, leading to a viewpoint.
