MUSEO DEL FERROCARRIL CARLOS ANTONIO LÓPEZ

This small train museum is named after the president who launched rail transport in Paraguay in the mid-19th century. You can see old locos, impressive machines and tools (most of them in working order), photos from the end of the 19th century... This museum, well maintained, seemed to us more interesting than the one in Asunción. The guide who usually officiates is Rubén Dario Bogado, who worked in the workshops for 34 years until their closure in 2000.
