EL VIEJO RINCÓN
Located on the corner of Calle Maestro Firmín, a cuadra from the church, this handsome colonial-style house dates back to 1895. It was built by Italian immigrants, the Gini family, who were among the first to settle in Paraguay at the end of the 19th century. The house still belongs to the same family, who have been running this iconic restaurant since the 1970s. Traditional dishes are served here, mostly prepared with tatakua: Paraguayan sopa, chipa guazú, milanesas... Lovely welcome from doña Reina, the current owner.
