VILLA ARTESANAL RAMÓN AYALA SALIM

An exhibition and sales centre for handicrafts developed by hundreds of craftsmen from the rural areas of Tobatí, grouped together in an association. It is named after an eminent sculptor from Tobatí, who died in 2011. Wooden statues and masks (palos santo or cedar), ysypo (liana) furniture, karanda'y fiber hats, coconut fiber hammocks, ao po'i and the pottery of Compañia 21 de Julio. Quality work at reasonable prices. The Villa Artesanal can be reached by motorcycle taxi.
