PUENTE HÉROES DEL CHACO
The Puente Héroes del Chaco, inaugurated in March 2024, is the second bridge to link Asunción to the Chaco (with the Puente Remanso 8 km further north), across the Río Paraguay. At 603 m long, it provides easy access to the country's untamed western region, while offering a unique panoramic view of the capital and the river. Its modern silhouette, with its elegant stays, has become a new symbol of the city. It can be admired from Costanera Norte, especially at sunset, when the bridge and the river take on a superb golden hue.
