Is a hardware store(ferretería) a good place to go out? Yes, well, it's not really a hardware store any more, but a real neighborhood bar, half-clandestine, which attracts quite a few people, especially on weekends. You have to go to the patio at the back of the house through a dark corridor. There, you'll find a warm, underground atmosphere, open to the air, with wooden tables to relax on. The beers are cheap and the cocktails are loaded. And to wash it all down, there's a good choice of empanadas or burgers.
