HOTEL GUARANÍ ASUNCIÓN

The most emblematic hotel in the country and an icon of national architecture. Since 1961, this unique thirteen-storey building has been enthroned in the centre of Asunción. President Charles de Gaulle and astronaut Neil Armstrong were able to test the presidential suite. The hotel was closed for many years, before regaining its splendour in 2008, with rooms of modern comfort and minimalist design. Large terrace with swimming pool, auditorium, sauna, casino and Yasyretá, the bar-restaurant offering good international cuisine.
