La Alianza Francesa is located in the centre, 5 minutes from Plaza Uruguaya. This non-profit association, which is mainly financed with French courses (approximately 1 200 pupils each year in Asunción), represents the cultural showcase of France in Paraguay. It promotes cultural diversity through activities and festivals open to any type of public: cinema, concerts, pictures, pictures, etc. A library and a theatre for 240 people, the Salle Molière.
