There's an East Village feel to this pretty bistro in the middle of nowhere. The menu is small and meaty, with flat iron steak, hamburger, baby back ribs with hoisin sauce and grilled pork chops. However, Underwood also offers a delicious salmon with mushrooms, as well as some Thai specialties. These include pad see ew - the inevitable thick rice noodles - the famous Hat Yai fried chicken, and yam woon sen.

For an appetizer we got the ahi tuna tartar. 21 dollars. That dish was TINY. just doesn’t make sense compared to the main course price.
Overall was good
