Run by Catherine and René Dick, this typically Alsatian restaurant first of all seduces by its location on the edge of the old town of Colmar. Afterwards, when you enter, you are stunned to discover its incredible interior decoration. Its painted woodwork is really magnificent! Au Chasseur offers an ideal setting to share a good time with friends during a very convivial meal. Here, you can enjoy seasonal game, for example a doe stew served with a honey sauerkraut. You can also choose the house speciality with your eyes closed: the fillet of beef cooked on stone served with 3 sauces and crispy fries. And then there is also the famous "potato burger" prepared with a large potato as bread, all with a munster sauce... Copious portions and attentive service as a bonus, provided you avoid the Christmas market period where you have to be patient. Note that every Friday, every month, the chef proposes a themed menu: sauerkraut with fish, mussels in cream sauce, couscous and other dishes that are sure to be tasty!

Ils ont fait de moi un nouvel adepte, je reviendrai à ma prochaine visite de Colmar ! C'est certains !
La responsable ouvre la porte 10min avant l’ouverture pour demander combien nous sommes ( 16 dont quelques enfants ) elle nous rétorque directement et sans aucun professionnalisme « je ne vous servirais pas ».
A aucun moment nous n’avons demandé à être assis tous à la même table, aucune possibilité de dialogue ni de recherche de solution. Accueil déplorable, agressif, pas du tout commerçant. Et le refus de vente est même illégal !!
