Authentic and warm restaurant located in the heart of the old town of Colmar offering traditional French dishes
In the heart of the old town of Colmar and a stone's throw from the museum of the same name, this restaurant, very popular with Colmarians, can be easily identified thanks to its original plaster of Auguste Bartholdi's "Tonnelier". Its beautiful restaurant room is authentic and warm, as are the dishes prepared by an experienced team led by the Foit family. On the first floor, a second room is dedicated to banquets and family celebrations, with no less than forty variations of menus for groups! At Bartholdi, traditional French and regional dishes are perfectly executed: homemade snails or Provençal frogs' legs as a starter, trout braised in Riesling or royal sauerkraut garnished, all accompanied of course by a good Alsatian wine! Reception and service without reproach, pretty summer terrace.
