Restaurant located close to the Place Jeanne-d'Arc offering varied and copious couscous
Situated just a stone's throw from Place Jeanne-d'Arc, this restaurant offers a warm welcome. Everything is there: the smile of the manager, the smell of fresh mint and couscous, the exotic music and the oriental, bluish decor that will transport you to the Maghreb for the duration of a meal. The couscous are copious and varied (very fine semolina, fresh vegetables, delicious broth, just like the meat). Vegetarian, chicken, merguez, meatballs, lamb, skewer, royal, mixed or mechoui, what's your preference? If you prefer tagine, there's a wide choice, from vegetarian to lamb, olive and preserved lemon tagine, as well as meatball or fish tagine. For dessert, don't forget an assortment of oriental pastries and a mint tea for a complete change of scenery! Good to know: the restaurant has a stand at the covered market on Saturday mornings: you'll find exactly the same couscous to take away, prepared by the wife of the waiter and manager. It's obviously delicious and less expensive than at the restaurant, where prices are nevertheless quite reasonable.
