Good regional specialities to taste in a restaurant in Colmar.
The neo-rustic decoration of the Fer Rouge combines wrought iron, rough wood and winks to Colmarian artists (Hansi, Bartholdi, Schongauer and Grünewald). In the kitchen, the chef prepares good regional specialities: ham fondant with honey, spätzle caquelon with munster cheese, baeckeofe with pinot noir. In December, we enjoy a foie gras deliciously marinated with lemon and gewurztraminer. Small brasserie menu in the afternoon (tartes flambées, Alsatian planchettes...). An elevator allows people with reduced mobility to access the floor in comfort.

Très bon restaurant typique de la région Alsacienne. Très prisé, nous avons attendu quelques minutes avant de pouvoir être attablés, mais cela en valait la peine. Les serveurs sont aux petits soins et les plats délicieux ! Les portions sont énormes et valent leurs prix.

Nous avions réservé une table pour 19h15 et sommes arrivés à 19h19. Notre table avait été donné à d'autres personnes. Nous avons dû attendre plus de 45 minutes pour en obtenir une autre.
Scandaleux, malgré que les plats soient délicieux et copieux nous n'y remettrons plus les pieds.
