Very good restaurant, superbly located on the small port of Piso Livadi, run by the Markakis family. Delicious Greek cuisine, impeccable service. The products on offer are traditional Greek dishes, including a large choice of very fresh and well prepared fish. Eggplant caviar, tarama, zucchini fritters or grilled squid... Don't forget to book, as it is full almost all the time. Dessert and glass of raki often offered at the end of the meal... The prices remain reasonable for an excellent cuisine.

Markakis is a restaurant located in the eastern part of the island of Paros on the charming and picturesque port of Piso Livadi. It offers a cozy setting, with a beautiful view of the port, to enjoy the dishes concocted by the chef Maria Soboni. In order to offer you the best, this traditional Greek chef selects high quality products. Her delicious traditional mezze dishes from the Cyclades will delight your taste buds. At Markakis, you will also be able to taste various seafood dishes such as sea urchin salad, grilled octopus with rocket salad and grilled squid. Meat lovers will also be pleased. For example, they can opt for the baked lamb shank, the grilled oriental chicken brochettes or the beef tenderloin sautéed with pasteurized goat butter.
