PURCARI

The Purcari wine estate is one of the most prestigious in Moldova and dates back to 1827. It is an essential visit on the discovery of wines. Tastings of the best wines, red, white, rosé and ice wine, guided tours of the facilities and the most elaborate manufacturing processes, discovery of the cellars with its French oak barrels and a collection room. This modern fortress-like complex takes place in the middle of nature, on a hill in the middle of the vineyards. It includes a beautiful hotel, two gourmet restaurants, a shop and a tourist agency. The modern part of the complex includes grape processing, wine storage facilities and the bottling line. In the historical part you can see the cellars, where the wine ages in oak barrels and bottles, and finally the unique collection of "Purcari" wines, a part of the national heritage.

There are various formulas for visits and tastings at 290 lei (three wines), 390 lei (four wines), 420 lei (three wines), 560 lei (six wines), 650 lei (seven wines), 670 lei (four wines including one great vintage), 880 lei (nine wines) and 1,030 lei (ten wines). The cost of the stay on the premises is 1,400 lei for a "barrel" room, 1,540 lei for a standard room, 1,750 lei for a luxury room, 1,960 lei for a VIP room and 3,600 lei for the "skyhouse". The rooms are modern and comfortable, the food in the restaurant is delicious. An on-site shop offers bottles of wine and wine-related accessories and objects.
