From 1811 onwards, thousands of trappers and gold miners used this road, which linked the Missouri valleys to Oregon. It was not until 1840 that it was paved, allowing pioneer wagons to pass over it and thus families to emigrate to the West. Exhibitions, films and trails tell the story of this famous Gold Rush Route. Very informative and fun.
