BARCIS VILLAGE

Because the picture postcard of Barcis is unmissable, we recommend you to venture to this small village near Andreis. The small center is nestled on the edge of a blue-green lake. There is a picnic area near the water, the Palazzo Centi (now a hotel) and a pretty little 16th century church. The crystal clear turquoise waters of a wonderful canyon magnified by the white of the limestone rock flow in the heart of the Forra del Cellina reserve, itself in the National Park of the Friulian Dolomites, between Barcis and Montreale.
