The region offers many hills and mountains with adventurous trails to explore by bike. In addition, the proximity of the Italian and French Riviera adds a touch of charm to the region. A popular route for cyclists is the Via del Sale, an old military road that links the provinces of Liguria and Piedmont over a distance of 60 km. This spectacular route offers panoramic views and takes cyclists from Limone Piemonte to Monesi, then on to the coast near Sanremo or Ventimiglia. For the return journey, cyclists can take the Tenda cable car, which winds through numerous tunnels back to Limone Piemonte. Mountain bikers can enjoy this exciting adventure on the border between Italy and France, discovering one of the most beautiful mountain bike trails from the Alps to the sea.
