PROSCIUTTIFICIO WOLF SAURIS

Wolf was the nickname of a master sausage maker from Sauris, born in 1862, who prepared his sausages and hams according to traditional methods. His grandson founded the company in the 1960s with the aim of continuing the artisanal tradition of preparing and maturing cured meats. Prosciuttificio Wolf is renowned for its quality products such as prosciutto di Sauris IGP (a raw ham smoked with beech wood) and speck di Sauris.
