With its unusual architecture of violin inspiration, this monumental 5 * palace is directly on the beach. Impeccable service and high class service. A refinement and elegance for maximum luxury. A top-of-the-range establishment is the perfect romantic address to spend its honeymoon in the lagoon.

The question is: Passing smart does not just pass! Dare push the door of the Excelsior! For this, simply ask politely to see the decoration of the lobby. Of course, respectful and discreet behavior is in place.

Un monument de mauvais goût fusion du style stalinien Disney et mauresque en gardant le moins bien des 3. Chambres ringardes. Équipements dépassés. Merci de visionner la photo de l'interrupteur qui commande l'éclairage au style saint ouen. Attention si vous pensez venir par la navette publique : arrêt à 2 km de l'hôtel. En cas d'arrivée tardive ne comptez pas sur un taxi. Nous avons fait le trajet à pied. Voilà.

Best advice: STAY AWAY! Do not waste your money at this hotel. We have stayed in many “5-Star” Hotels around the world and this hotel is nowhere near a “5-Star.” The pricing is “5-Star” but the room, food and service were, at best, “3-Star.”

Let’s start with check in: “Room ready at 3:00pm” ~ After traveling more than 6,000 miles to Venice, we arrive at the hotel. We were kept waiting in the lobby for about 90 minutes. No welcome drink, no water, nothing offered for the inconvenience of delay. Not even an apology.

We waited at the restaurant-bar where, after 15 minutes of being shown our seat, a waiter finally came to ask us for our order. (There were only 3 other tables with customers at the time.).

When we arrived in the room, it was pitiful. (We are staying in the hotel’s best suite facing the sea at nearly 2,000 Euros per night with tax.)

The coffee machine has mold in it and a used coffee capsule.

The furniture looks like it was procured from a pawn shop, showing what would be best described as decades of aging.

The balcony had not been jet-washed and is moldy.

Bring your own hair-dryer as the one the hotel provides is certainly not a Dyson or anything close to the last 30 years of tech.

The bathroom looks like something out of a hospital or horror film.

This room needs significant repair.

We feel sad for the staff here as they have to endure this. We imagine we are not the only people to have such an experience based on watching other customers make complaints about issues.

The room was spacious though a little dated, and the ocean view was amazing at night. They have a private beach and gazebos on the sand. We enjoyed at the beautiful swimming pool that was clean, and all towels are available.
We drove there with car ferries that connect from Tronchetto to Lido.
The breakfast was fantastic that so many drinks and food to choose from.
