With coffee, lemon, coconut or chocolate, Rolando's soft amaretti are famous throughout Piedmont and beyond. Like soft macaroons, individually wrapped in colorful paper, amaretti remain the ideal snack to nibble on while strolling through the pretty streets of Alessandria. The almond classics are wrapped in red paper, the cocoa ones are blue, the coffee ones are brown, and so on. The recipe has remained unchanged since 1942, for a truly unbeatable taste!
