Museum exhibiting Roman remains, a collection of paintings from the Piedmontese and Lombard schools
The museum, housed in the Palazzo Cuttica di Cassine, boasts a valuable collection of works of art, most of which come from the Alessandria area. The archaeological room displays Roman remains found at Villa del Foro. The 17th-century Flemish tapestries are remarkable. A collection of paintings from the Piedmontese and Lombard schools. The room dedicated to Napoleon and the Battle of Marengo is a must-see. Last but not least, the print cabinet contains over 500 prints.

The best at Alessandria and around
