EASTERN HILLS

Located kilometres from Suzhou, on a peninsula on the edge of Lake Taihu. Magnificent landscapes (many fruit trees) and monuments of the Ming and Qing eras. Formerly the summer residence of kings during the Spring and Autumns period. The village has preserved its appearance and its charm of yesteryear: winding streets and small shops at the old counters.
