This centre, founded with the support of the European Union, is an essential part of any visit to Karakol. Run by friendly students, it provides information on B&Bs, local travel agencies, treks in the area and topographical maps of the surrounding mountains. Hikes and treks are even organized with reservation of pitches and equipment management. A very useful center to prepare your stay in Karakol and the surrounding area.

Small center maintained by students at the vile tourism university. Very useful to search for accommodation on Karakol or take information about the means of transport. However, for additional information about the treks in the region, it's best to get information from the city travel agencies!

Pratique pour prendre quelques informations en arrivant à Karakol. Nous y avons acheté une carte du coin indiquant les chemins de randonnée... mais que ce soit ici au Tourist Information center ou au Sheperd's life, il n'existe visiblement qu'une fameuse randonnée de 3 jours passant par Altyn Arashan. Cependant, elle est incontournable, vous en prendrez plein les yeux !
