About 30 km southwest of Luang Prabang. Entrance fee: 25,000 kips. A trip to the Kuang Si waterfalls is a real treat during the hot season. The cool and clear water will reward all your efforts. It is better to arrive there before the others, that is to say early in the morning, around 9-10 am. There it is possible to bathe in the invigorating natural pools. After noon, the place is literally overrun! So don't forget to bring your bathing suit and towel. During the weekend, many Laotians come to picnic, swim and relax... And above all, never swim alone. Watch each other and don't hesitate to get out of the water at the slightest sign of discomfort.
