ICCN / PARC NATIONAL DES VIRUNGA

For the Ruwenzori ascent, the visit to the gorillas and other tours in the northern zone of the Virunga National Park (Ishango, Lake Edward, Mount Tshiaberimu...) as well as Mount Hoyo, it is necessary to inquire in advance with ICCN and the park managers about the feasibility of certain visits. It is also necessary to take care of all the necessary procedures (transportation, lodging, permits...). The access to the park depends essentially on the level of security of the region.
