Legend has it that in the past, hundreds of "mwa mulopo", a kind of healer covered in red and white kaolin and acting in the name of the spirits, met there in the form of an assembly to imbibe mysterious healing forces. The myth remains alive to this day. Lake Ndinga is located 51 km from Mbuji Mayi on the road to Mwene Ditu and offers a magnificent setting for relaxation. 300 meters away is Lake Lomba with its clearer waters, where fishing and hiking are possible. Beautiful orange tree plantations are visible.
