Renaissance house with arcaded courtyard, where Mozart stayed in 1783, composing his in just three days.

Linz is one of the many places that were honored and marked by the great composer. Mozart composed in this house. Not surprising, since he never stopped composing, so if he passed through here... In 1783, Mozart took up residence in this beautiful three-storey Renaissance residence, with its arcaded courtyard. As a guest of the Count of Thun, he composed the Linz Symphony 36 in just three days, one of his last works.
