MUSEO DE ARTE E HISTORIA DE DURANGO

Housed in the beautiful 18th century palace of Etxezarreta, this museum has an exhibition on the history of Durango from prehistory to the 20th century on the first floor, including an interesting model reconstructing the town in the 15th century. It also has an important collection of Basque art, including a fine series of engravings by Chillida. Completely refurbished in 2017, the building also houses temporary exhibitions on the second floor.
