Two Lights State Park with a lighthouse to direct boats offering a tour to Cape Elizabeth Point
Since 1961, Two Lights State Park has welcomed visitors from Maine and the region. Its name comes from the two lighthouses, built in 1828 and stationed on either side of the park to guide boats, the Cape Elizabeth Lights. Today, only one of the towers is still standing and active. Edward Hopper depicted it in his painting The Lighthouse at Two Lights. At the top, the view of Casco Bay is breathtaking. To get to the State Park, take Highway 77 and turn onto Two Lights Road, heading towards the tip of Cape Elizabeth.
