Wright Museum of World War II

Wolfeboro and Maine may not have seen much of the Second World War, but the museum dedicated to it is rather well done and provides an understanding of the world conflict as felt on the other side of the Atlantic. Its collection of nearly 14,000 objects helps visitors understand how this major event changed the way American society lived. American military vehicles and beautiful photographs of the Normandy landings are on display.
