This small fishing port is still very popular today. Rockport has long seduced and inspired creative people, charmed by the beauty of its coastline. In the 1840s, a colony of artists took up residence here. The town and the coastal scenery it offers visitors have been immortalized time and again, most notably its red fisherman's hut.
